As Managing Director, James Alisch is focused on continuing to build our globally admired brand through strategic initiatives that will elevate the customer experience and create growth within our franchises. Utilizing performance based management and his passion for people, James recognizes our growth opportunities and works with his teams to realize the potential of our Franchise Partners and their teams, and our market opportunity.
James has worked in leadership roles within the home service industry throughout his career, starting as the Vice President for College Pro Painters, then joining 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in April 2006 as Vice President of Operations. After taking time to pursue other business ventures, James took on the opportunity to lead 1-800-GOT-JUNK?’s sister company, WOW 1 DAY PAINTING as Managing Director for seven years. During this time, James also took on additional leadership roles to drive the growth of our other sister companies, and to help find exceptional people to bring onboard as Franchise Partners.
In 2021, James came back home to 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to lead the brand as Managing Director.
Throughout his career, James has always been a big advocate of coaching and the development of leaders. He has seen it help people realize their potential and strengthen the common language amongst teams. Not only is James passionate about helping entrepreneurs, he is an entrepreneur himself. He owns multiple businesses and has been successful in growing them at varying stages. This experience is the foundation for every success James has built, leading teams to triumph in creating exceptional experiences for our customers.
James calls Abbotsford, B.C. home. On the weekend he can be found enjoying time at his family cottage by the campfire or on the water with his wife, three kids, and Libby, the family dog.
