Brad Whitemore
I’m Brad Whitmore, owner of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Downtown Vancouver. Before joining 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, I had been an English teacher for 5 years and had also worked in business development in Asia and Latin America. I decided to join the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? family because I thought it was a simple idea but a great idea, and I aligned with the core values of passion, integrity, professionalism, and empathy. I loved Montreal and decided to move across the country for the opportunity to build the business here.
What I love most about running my own business is building strong relationships with my team and solving the day to day challenges of providing exceptional customer service. I also love getting involved in the community. We have been a long time contributor to Community Shares, an organization that funds a number of charities in the communities we service.
I currently sit on the Franchise Advisory Council of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and I love sharing my own experiences with the company to help other franchise owners succeed. I also mentor young entrepreneurs who are starting their own businesses. Outside of work, I enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, and cycling. I’m also a life-long musician, and play drums and guitar!
