Debra and Frank Makos
Debra and Frank Makos are the owners of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? In Nashua. Prior to joining the company, Frank worked in a granite quarry as a sawyer. He also had a side business for installation of granite countertops, mail posts, and other uses of granite. Debbie worked as a senior level accounting professional. She was the CFO at a garment manufacturer and Director of Treasury at a performance textile company. She also worked as a financial business consultant. They now work together in the business, with Frank running the day-to-day operations and Debbie supporting the backend operations.
They chose to join the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? family because they were looking for a business to purchase and happened to come across the brand on a website for resales of businesses. Once they started learning more about the company, they knew we wanted to be a part of the team! They love the flexibility of being business owners and getting the chance to make a difference with their staff, customers, and in the community.
The business supports several local community and nonprofit organizations. Frank is actively involved with the non-profit Homeland Heroes. They also support many local organizations, such youth sports, schools, and veteran organizations. They’re also proud members of the Nashua Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work Frank and Debbie enjoy spending time with family. They love travelling with family and friends, exploring various restaurants and cultures. You can often find them playing golf, cards, and traveling.
