What we’ve learned over all these years in the junk business, is that “junk” is a subjective term. As the saying goes, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” But sometimes…well, sometimes the junk we end up hauling away is just plain weird. (Seriously, just when we think we’ve seen it all, something even weirder shows up.) This year was full of weird and wonderful junk we just had to share. While we could only pick 10, there are a ton of honorable mentions we’ll be sharing in the coming weeks.
Without further ado, we present to you the Weird Junk Hall of Fame for 2016.
10. Horseraffe
Is it a horse? Is it a giraffe? Your guess is as good as ours.
9. Giant remote control
Back in the day, we didn’t need gym memberships. Watching TV was enough of a workout.
8. Bottlefish
We’re guessing this fish was probably pretty easy to catch.
7. Big boned
We’re not exactly sure what this is, but we’re sure it’s cool–no bones about it!
6. Giant guitar
Some BIG hits were probably written on this thing.
5. Suit of armor
If you put a candle in there it would be a light in shining armor.
4. Solar-and-pedal-powered vehicle
Maybe they tossed it after the solar failed to kick in while going uphill.
3. Giant beer mug
Now that’s how you start a party!
2. Horse collar mirror
“Mirror, mirror on the wall, am I the fairest of them all?” “Neigh.”
