Fernando Jimenez

My name is Fernando Jimenez, and I’m the General Manager of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Silicon Valley. Before joining the team in 2021, I built my career in retail as a customer service and sales manager. I made the jump to 1-800-GOT-JUNK? because I wanted to change lives. Having struggled with clutter in the past, I know firsthand the incredible sense of relief that comes with a clean, organized home. Joining during the peak of the pandemic was a challenge, but I felt a deep responsibility to provide that same peace of mind to our neighbors when they needed it most.

When people ask what I love most about leading our franchise, it’s the opportunity to spread positivity. I take great pride in guiding my staff to ensure every customer feels that weight lift off their shoulders. We aren’t just hauling items; we’re helping people reclaim their space. We’re also committed to responsible disposal in the Bay Area. Through our partnership with the Mattress Recycling Council, we ensure mattresses are repurposed rather than sent to landfills, and we work closely with Goodwill, local churches, and second-chance centers to give everyday items a new life whenever possible. From holiday toy drives to daily donations, giving back is at the heart of what we do.

Outside of the warehouse, I’m a lifelong learner. I love exploring new places, staying active with sports, and listening to leadership podcasts to grow as a mentor. Most importantly, I enjoy spending my summers making memories with my wife and our three children. Whether we are out in the community or at home, my goal is always the same: to leave things better than I found them.
