Anddy Carmona
My name is Anddy Carmona, and I’m the General Manager of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Orlando. Before joining the team here in Florida, I spent 18 years in the utility industry in New York City. I started my career as a meter reader and eventually worked my way up to managing over 120 people and a $70 million budget. I also spent time as a VP of Operations in the franchise world, but I eventually decided to relocate to Florida to be closer to my mother and find a role where I could truly impact lives on a personal level.
When people ask me what makes our Orlando team special, I point to our commitment to people and our community. I’m a firm believer in second chances, and nothing fulfills me more than mentoring my team and watching them master their craft. We don’t just remove junk; we provide opportunities for our employees to change their lives and for our neighbors to clear their space. We take pride in our local partnerships, working closely with Goodwill and local churches to ensure that furniture and household items find a second home with those who need them most.
Outside of work, I’m a dedicated family man. Most of my time is spent with my wife and our nine-month-old son. I’m also a huge fan of the creative arts, I’m a DJ, a multi-instrumentalist, and a bit of a sneakerhead. Whether I’m exploring the latest in AI-generated art or helping our franchise grow alongside the city of Orlando, I’m committed to making this community a better place to live and work.
