Hi, I’m Evan Cohen, owner of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Brooklyn/Queens. Prior to joining 1-800-GOT-JUNK? I spent 15 years in various leadership positions within the direct marketing industry.
What attracted me to 1-800-GOT-JUNK? was the opportunity to join a unique franchise system consisting of other culture driven and goal oriented entrepreneurs. Rarely (if ever) have I seen a company or franchise system with this kind of camaraderie and sharing of best practices.
I love coming to work every day. Our management and truck teams are like one big family. We share one vision and we're all pushing in the same direction for collective company and personal growth.
One thing I’m extremely proud of is our work with Second Chance Toys, a local charity that collects and sanitizes used toys, ultimately donating them to children in need. Outside of work I love traveling, anything to do with physical fitness, cooking and eating great food, and spending time with my wife and 2 children.
