John Vandeberg
Hi, I'm John Vandeberg, the local General Manager for the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Somerset franchise in Central New Jersey. Our junk removal business was the first of two franchises to open in New Jersey in the summer of 2006.
Early on, we developed a lasting partnership with the Rutgers University Office of Student Employment and are fortunate to have several Rutgers students working for us. Our office also partners with nearby Raritan Valley Community College for potential team members.
From the start, our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise has been active in the Franklin Township Chamber of Commerce and we recently joined the state Chamber of Commerce. We sponsor local little league and women's softball teams who often participate in local charity events throughout the year. In April of 2007, we cleaned out quite a number of basements, as people were scrambling to bail out from the intense rain that engulfed central Jersey.
We look forward to helping people in Central New Jersey make their junk disappear!
