Ryan Whitehead
Hi, I’m Ryan Whitehead, General Manager of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Indianapolis. Before joining the team here, I was an EMT and Firefighter. I truly believe that 1-800-GOT-JUNK? found me. At the time, I was looking for a transition out of EMS so I could spend more time with my growing family. I saw the job ad and knew I needed to see what it is all about. The rest is history! The thing I enjoy the most about my job is that I get to now pay it forward by creating paths for success for others. I had a path created for me by my mentor, it's important that I carry that on.
As a franchise, we have relationships with multiple donation centers as well as we have sponsored 8 children for the last 2 years. We help them out with school supplies, Christmas gifts, and anything that brings joy to the kiddos. We’re also members of the Indy Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, it’s all about my family! I have a very understanding wife and two growing children, who definitely help keep me grounded. When I have the time, I love to squeeze in 18 holes of golf!
