Hi, I’m Scott Lindley, a Fort Wayne native and a graduate of Snider High School and Indiana State University. For the last 25 years, I was an owner of a large multinational call center. I sold my business in 2018, and am now opening a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Fort Wayne, Indiana with my cousin Brodie Burbank and good family friend Brad Bennett. We’re just three dedicated fathers, sport enthusiasts, and born & raised Indiana boys trying to do good for our local community.
Our overall mission is to do our part to help revitalize Fort Wayne and the surrounding Indiana communities, working to find new homes for unwanted items with people that may need a helping hand. Our goal is to donate or recycle over 60% of all items we collect.
I first heard about this opportunity through a good friend that has owned a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise for over 20 years in the St. Louis metro area. After seeing all the great things he and his team have done in that community, we were inspired to do the same in Northeast Indiana. When we learned that Fort Wayne had an available franchise opening, we jumped on the opportunity as soon as we could.
We are excited to give back to the community that we call home. Outside of donations for charitable organizations, helping hard working people realize their dreams of being part of a successful team, and having the opportunity to grow personally and professionally really excites us. There is nothing more fun than watching people prosper and realize their true potential.
