Meet our franchise partner:
Michael McGinnis
Michael McGinnis is the General Manager of the Boise 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise. Michael was first hired at the Greater East Bay franchise of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as a truck team member in September of 2015. A year later, he got the opportunity to co-manage the franchise in. Then, in December 2017, he relocated to the Los Angeles area to become the General Manager of the LA Metro franchise of a moving company.
In July 2018, the opportunity to invest in the Boise franchise along with other members of the management team, but eventually left his position at the moving company to pursue his passion project, a fishing reel that he had designed, fabricated and patented a few years ago.
In April of 2020, Michael returned to the organization to work with the team. After 6 months, he was presented with the opportunity to relocate to Idaho to become the General Manager of the Boise franchise.
