Gabriel Dominguez

Before joining 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, I embarked on a journey that began in the Navy, serving for two years, before advancing my education as a university student majoring in Political Science and U.S. National Security Studies. Initially taking on a part-time position, I was drawn in by the company's "happy to help" attitude, compelling me to fully commit to its values and mission.

As a General Manager, the aspect of my role that I cherish the most is the opportunity to positively impact the lives of my team members. From celebrating their children's birthdays with a simple act of kindness like a cupcake to supporting them through challenging times, it's the personal connections and the sense of community we've built that truly define our workplace. These relationships not only enhance our team's cohesion but also drive us to collectively strive for excellence in every task we undertake.

Outside of work, my life revolves around my wife and two daughters, who are my greatest motivations. Martial arts and baseball offer me a personal outlet and joy, embodying my passions beyond the professional realm. Our franchise maintains a commitment to sustainability through recycling metals and cardboard, and donating usable furniture to the Red Collection. Our mission in Greensboro is rooted in the continuous pursuit of excellence—a testament not to perfection, but to our relentless drive to improve and excel both in service and as a team.
