1-800-GOT-JUNK? Sells Good Junk to Help Nightclub Fire Victims
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is a junk removal firm that specializes in spring cleanings and removing clutter. Time and again we prove the old saying, "one person's junk is another person's treasure". Our trash removal team in Rhode Island often comes across high-quality junk in their daily junk removals. In March 2007, they sold some of it in a thrift sale to help Station Nightclub victims with their medical needs. Some of the "junk" that was on sale included items like antique chairs and newer appliances like gas stoves.
The Providence Journal wrote another article about how 1-800-GOT-JUNK? assisted victims of the Station Nightclub fire of 2003.

Scott Fuller, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise owner, says his most memorable cleanout was his very first junk removal. "I keep a copy of the check from this trash removal hanging over my desk. We were called to do a basement cleanout for an older commercial building in Fall River. We were surprised at the junk we found - the basement was filled with old political signs. These signs were all shapes and sizes, and they looked like they'd been left undisturbed for almost fifty years!"
